Rhonda has worked with children for over 30 years. She has her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from CCSU.

She knew at a very young age that she would one day work with children. Rhonda was not wrong.

Throughout her career in childcare, she has 1 year as an Infant Teacher in a center, almost 9 years' experience as a nanny, 19 years as a family child care provider, and now she is going into her fifth year as a Child Care Center owner.  

Rhonda loves music and sings in her church choir. She is actively involved in her church, where she rents 6 classrooms for her Center. She enjoys reading, spending time with her daughter, who also works at the Center, going on motorcycle rides with her boyfriend, going to concerts, shows, and events at the local Warner Theater, and socializing with her family and friends any chance she gets.  

"Love what you do, and you will never work a day in your life!" That is how Rhonda feels about her work. Children are a true and life-long passion of hers. If you ask her what the worst part about childcare is, her answer is always, "The alarm clock".   

Her goals now are to pass along her passion and knowledge to the next generation of Child Care Providers, while she gets to know each and every child that comes to Wee Learn & Play and let them know how special they truly are.
