Guided by our Learning Through Play philosophy, we believe strong relationships are the foundation of every child's success. Every member of our team shares a passion for creating positive experiences that help children build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Meet Our Teaching Team

Every member of our team plays an important role in creating the warm, welcoming environment families have come to trust.

Since 1989, Rhonda has dedicated her career to working with children and inspiring young learners. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Central Connecticut State University and has experience as an infant teacher, nanny, family child care provider, and childcare center owner.

Since opening Wee Learn & Play in 2019, Rhonda has remained actively involved every day, getting to know each child and family while mentoring her team and fostering the welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere that defines the center.

Her favorite saying, "Love what you do, and you will never work a day in your life," reflects the passion she brings to early childhood education. Her goal is to help every child recognize how special they are while inspiring the next generation of childcare professionals.

Child care has always been a part of Victoria's life. Growing up in her mother's home daycare sparked a passion that naturally led her to a career in early childhood education. Since joining Wee Learn & Play in 2019, she's enjoyed helping children build confidence, explore new experiences, and develop a love of learning.

Victoria hopes to one day become the director of a childcare center and continue making a positive impact on children and families in her community.

Julie G.

Toddler Teacher

Ms. Julie has been working with children for several years in a variety of settings. Her background includes nannying, babysitting, working in daycare centers, and caring for children in a pediatrics unit. She is a certified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and has experience caring for children with specialized medical needs, including G-tube feedings, tracheostomy care, medication administration, and general patient care.

Ms Julie enjoys spending time with her friends and family, is passionate about working with children, is fascinated by books, nature, and animals,and loves exploring the outdoors. She draws creative inspiration from nature and the world and enjoys photography. She thrives on educating young minds and performing her work in healthcare. 

One of Ms. Julie’s favorite aspects of teaching is watching children discover new things, build confidence, and grasp new concepts as they develop. Working with children is truly her passion. She loves creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

Her promise to the children, "I firmly believe that curiosity fuels meaningful learning. As your teacher, my goal is to ignite your curiosity about the world around you, inspire you to learn, and help to shape your young minds so you can be the best you can be".

Madison began her career in early childhood education as a teenager by babysitting for families. This led her to work in a child care center in her later teen years.

Madison and her fiancee are the proud fur parents to 2 dogs and 3 cats. While originally from Massachusetts, where her parents and sister still live, Madison has made Connecticut her home.

She loves shopping, watching television, hiking, and spending time with the people she loves.

Madison is living her dream of working with children. "I couldn't really see myself doing anything else!" She is definitely "happiest" when she is surrounded by children.

Together, we work to ensure every child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn each day.
